Youth have to interpret life with very little information to base their theories on. The knowledge they have most of is that which has been gained through research and study. For any one young person’s sake, the hope is that the knowledge gathered is through credible resources. For any one aged person, satisfaction and contentment come when years of experience can be transferred into a resource that is studied, then put into action by someone of the younger generation. Transferring knowledge and experience gained over time is how each generation honors the gift of time. And since life is a composite of events with a beginning and an end, the knowledge we successfully transfer is a way to honor the life we have been able to live up to any one point. Whether we are young or old, for there is always someone younger than any one of us.
